Answer – Thanks for writing to NewzHook. There is a disability pension scheme offered by the Centre called Indira Gandhi National Disability Scheme. Under this, any disabled person above 18 years of age with 40% disability belonging to the poverty line can apply.

Apart from this, many states also offer disability pension. You have to check the government website specific to the state you live in for details.
