Best friends can help reduce stress, says study
A new study says that friendships help people to overcome the stressful times of their lives.The research was done on 185 adults, and questions were asked about best friendship quality, self-esteem, psychological behaviours and others.
It found that friendships protect people against stress and helped them become more flexible in life. This means that having close and positive friends around you helps to deal with stress better.
So, having a strong support system improves emotional health and keeps serious health problems away.
