Ramayana to be made into a Rs 500-crore movie shot in 3D
Indian cinema is getting ready for another film based on ancient and historical stories.
It is reported that three producers, Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena are coming together to introduce the Ramayana to the big screen.
The live-action film will be shot in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. The project is said to be India’s costliest film with a budget of Rs 500 crore. It will be shot in 3D and released in three parts.
The work on the script of the Ramayana has been on for the last one year.
Ramayana narrates the epic story of divine Prince Rama and how he rescued his wife Sita from the demon King Ravana.
