Partially blind student from Chennai tops board exams
Tamil Selvan C from Chennai has passed his class 10 exams at the age of 19 and he is very happy to have achieved this success with 480 marks out of 500.
He is partially blind and had to leave school for four years to learn braille and learn to live with low vision.
Selvan is also a chess player and has won medals in three district level chess competitions. He has the full support of his parents who are taking care of him despite being financially weak.
He wants to become an IAS officer after completing school. He is sure that with a strong will and dedication he can reach his dreams.
