Petrol, diesel rates increased in Delhi

Petrol and diesel prices have been increased from 1 June in Delhi. The announcement was made by Indian Oil Corp – IOC which is India’s largest fuel retail company.

Petrol price has been increased by Rs. 1.23 and diesel price is increased by Rs. 0.89. It means petrol in Delhi will cost Rs. 66.91 per litre as against earlier price of Rs. 65.32 a litre. Also, a litre of diesel will be priced at Rs. 55.94, as compared to Rs. 54.90 earlier.

The rates have been increased without including local state charges or VAT. The actual increase in the prices of petrol and diesel will be higher depending on tax rate.
