Rs 20 crore worth of marketing deals for Kung fu Panda 3

American-Chinese animation movie Kung Fu Panda 3 has struck up brand deals worth Rs.20.3 crore in India. The third installment in the Kung fu Panda series was released in India this week.

The film has deals with seven brands across categories such as banks, food, and mobile internet services. These include McDonalds, ICICI Bank, Britannia Cakes, Horlicks, Ching’s Noodles, telecom company Huawei and Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Britannia has come up with special packaging and tattoo products for the film while ICICI has introduced Expressions debit cards with Kung Fu Panda 3 creatives. Horlicks will run a summer campaign with special packaging across one million-plus packs and Ching’s Noodles has created special products inspired by movie.

To attract moviegoers, McDonalds has come up with a Chinese menu inspired by the film and has launched Kung Fu Panda creatives for their fries.
