Shah Rukh buys new cricket team in T20 Global League

Cricket South Africa introduced its new T20 Global League in London and announced the host cities and owners of the eight teams.

Interestingly, one of the cricket teams in South Africa’s T20 Global League has been bought by Bollywood actor and film producer Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh’s new team will be called Capetown Knight Riders.

This is Shah Rukh’s third team in Twenty20 cricket leagues after Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Apart from Shah Rukh, the GMR group which owns the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, has bought a new team in the T20 global league.
