Rajasthan government reserves 3% seats for the disabled in cinema theatres
Now disabled people in Rajasthan need not wait in queue for tickets to watch a movie in a cinema hall in Rajasthan.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the government of Rajasthan has reserved three percent seats in cinema halls for the disabled people.
These three percent seats will be kept available till 30 minutes before the movie starts and will be sold to the general public only if they are not booked by the disabled people.
The new rule will be followed by all the cinema halls in the state even while booking advance tickets.
Different organizations working for the welfare of the disabled people in the state welcomed the government’s decision.
