Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and Google will work together against terrorism
Some of the top technology companies have declared that they will work together against terrorism. Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and Google-owned YouTube announced this on Monday.
The companies will create a Global Internet Forum that will be anti-terrorism. They will work together to create technical ways that will ensure that materials posted by terror groups on social media can be stopped.
Terror groups across the world are using social media websites to promote and recruit members for terrorist activities. The youth is the most targeted by these groups.
The companies had created a shared database in 2016, that allowed the companies to identify terror accounts.
