Technology helps blind man see his unborn child
A technology expert in the United States has developed a way to turn an ultrasound image into a life-like sculpture using a 3D printer.
This is helping blind couples who are expecting see their child in the womb. The creator of the device, which is called Image to Life, is Chris Frost and the device is helping the blind experience something that they have never been able to before.
The entire process of creating the model takes about 14 to 18 hours as care if taken to add details to the sculpture to make sure parents can see the tiny features like the lips and nose.
Ryan, who is blind and is expecting his first child, says the ability to feel his unborn child leaves him almost without words.
