Breathe movie is about UK’s first disability rights advocate
The upcoming American movie 'Breathe' is a biopic about the life of Robin Cavendish.
Cavendish was a British advocate and fought for the rights of the disabled people.
He was paralysed from the neck down by polio at age 28 and spent his life inspiring other disabled people.
He was the first lawyer in UK that was known for his work to help the people with disabilities.
Although he was told by doctors that he has a few months to live, Cavendish wanted to live his life fully.
Cavendish died in 1994 at the age of 64, becoming one of the longest-lived polio survivors in UK.
