Hrithik Roshan voted for playing the best disabled character in movie
Many Indian actors have played the characters of disabled people in movies. Some of the roles became memorable and changed the way disabled characters are portrayed in Indian cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a person with Asperger’s syndrome in My Name Is Khan. Aamir played a mentally-challenged person in Dhoom 3. Priyanka Chopra did the character of an autistic girl in Barfi.
In a poll conducted by DNA India, readers were asked to vote for the best performance by an actor as a disabled person.
Hrithik Roshan received the maximum number of votes for his role in the movie Koi Mil Gaya. He has played the character with slow mental growth and learning disabilities in the movie.
Recently Hrithik also did the character of a blind person in Kaabil, that was much appreciated by the audience.
