Bengaluru to be international centre of computer graphics technology

A plan has been approved by the government to develop Bengaluru as the international center of computer graphics technology.

The government has given it nod to the Karnataka Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics Policy, 2017-22.

This will not only bring more investments in the state but will also create around 20,000 jobs for the animators and technicians.

As per reports, more than 100 skills development institutions will get financial aid to become part of the development plan.

One of the world's best animation schools Gobelins will collaborate with the state to create a centre for animation in Bengaluru.
