Homework, schoolwork, exams and test anxiety, after school activities and bullying creates stress and mental health problems among today’s kids.
Here are some tips for parents to help kids manage stress.
Have time to listen to your child and allow them share with you what worries or problems they go through.
Make the children understand that some things can be changed like the way one reacts to situations while some things need to be accepted as it is like schoolwork needs to be completed on time.
As parents, you can also share about how you overcame with similar situations in the past.
Encourage children to make a plan to solve their own problems in their own way and then follow up in a day or two.
