Reebok makes lightweight shoes for space suits

Global athletic footwear and clothing company Reebok has used its technology to make a very lightweight space boot called Reebok Floatride Space Boot SB-01.

Right now, the space boot is being tested by scientists and will officially be introduced in 2018. It is the first development in space footwear in over 50 years.

The company has created a new space boot to provide lightweight protection and support along with comfort and performance.

The space boot has been made only for the final space suit which will be used by the scientists to and from the International Space Station in Boeing Company’s new spacecraft, the CST-100 Starliner.
