6 Km long rangoli made by more than 600 students in Tamil Nadu

School children in Tamil Nadu created a 6 km-long rangoli to create awareness about the protection of rivers in the country.

The rangoli was drawn on the road by more than 600 students in Coimbatore.

This rangoli was made in support of the ongoing Rally for Rivers campaign. The students wanted to get the attention of people towards the issue.

The Rally for Rivers campaign aims to protect and spread awareness about the Indian rivers.

Most of the main rivers like Ganga, Krishna, Narmada, Kaveri are getting affected by the growing pollution.

The main pollutants are human waste, sewage, industrial waste that is dumped into the rivers.
