Diet having lots of proteins can help treat bowel disease
A protein-rich diet helps in increasing the energy levels, builds muscles and also helps in losing weight.
A new study says that eating foods rich in protein such as nuts, eggs, poultry, beans, seeds, yogurt and even cheese and chocolate may make your body stronger to bear pain and also give relief to people who suffer from bowel disease.
Researchers from the US found that a diet with a lot of proteins can provide relief for people suffering from stomach pain and diarrhoea, which are common symptoms of painful bowel disease.
Experts suggest daily protein requirement of 46 grams for an average woman and 56 grams for men.
