Indian army to get robots to fight terror in Kashmir
The Indian army has decided to use robots to get assistance in the fight against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The robots will be built within the country and will be used for tasks like delivering ammunition to army personnel at a specified location.
As per reports, the army has put up a requirement of 544 such robots and the centre government has given its approval to the plan.
The robot will also be fitted with systems such as surveillance cameras and transmission systems and will be useful in multiple ways.
Army is already using a remotely operated robotic device for handling explosives and it is called Daksh.
