Coimbatore police office is now disabled friendly

The district police office in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is being made accessible for people with disabilities and the elderly who visit.

Many disabled people and senior citizens come to the police office on State Bank of India Road with petitions or for passport verification.

Wheelchairs are now available in front of the office to easily access the lift from the entrance. A temporary ramp is also being set up for the purpose.

There will be policemen to help the disabled people.

The policemen will bring them in wheelchairs through lifts and take them to respective police officers in the multi-storied building.
