Here are some interesting features of the new Rs 200 notes
The Reserve Bank of India – RBI has launched the new Rs 200 banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi series. This is the fourth new note to be introduced since last November when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Some features of the new Rs 200 notes are bright yellow base colour, picture of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre with Rs 200 written on the note in colour-changing ink, logo of Swachh Bharat or Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ‘Clean India’ campaign, security thread with writings 'Bharat' and RBI.
For visually impaired, the printing of Mahatma Gandhi picture and Ashoka Pillar emblem is raised along with raised Identification Mark H with micro-text ₹200, four angular bleed lines with two circles in between the lines both on the right and left sides.
