Speeding car hits blind students in Ahmedabad

Two blind young men who were waiting for a bus on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad were hit by a speeding car opposite the Deaf and Mute School. The accused, who is called Darshan, has been arrested and his car seized by the police.

The three blind students was waiting for a bus opposite their hostel at the Deaf and Mute School campus when the car driver broke the signal and hit the group. After two students were hit, a third student suffered injuries as the car ran him over when the driver tried to flee.

Two of them have suffered severe injuries and are in hospital. A complaint will be filed against the car driver after recording the statements of the victims.
