Bitter food can help reduce anxiety and stress
Anxiety is a combination of feelings such as worry, nervousness, fear, apprehension, concern or restlessness.
Sometimes, feeling gloomy or sad without any reason is also due to anxiety. As per health experts, eating bitter tasting food can cure anxiety.
Foods like fenugreek (methi), celery, dark chocolate, gourd, dandelion (baunphal), papaya, bitter gourd (karela), curry leaves, liquorice root (mulethi) are some of the bitter tasting foods that can be consumed as part of diet.
It is also advised to try and find the things that increase stress or make you feel emotionally weak. Working on positive thoughts can also help reduce anxiety and stress.
