Student & tabla player Atharva Kasar raises funds for school for autistic kids
Atharva Kasar, a school student based in the United States, and his friends have raised funds for Sanmvedana, a school for children with autism in Nagpur, India.
Atharva, who is just 16 years old, started playing the tabla at a very young age. He is also passionate about helping organizations supporting kids with autism. He has performed the tabla for autistic children at Samvedana during one of his summer vacations.
After seeing the effect that music therapy can have on many disabled kids, Atharva decided it was time to make a change by encouraging the use of music to help kids all around the world. He and a few of his high school friends have been playing music at places in the United States to make an impact.
He has also started a group called The Magic of Music which is very close to his heart.
