Spinal Cord Injury Day

‘Spinal Cord Injury Day’ is celebrated on 5th September every year and is an initiative of the International Spinal Cord Society - ISCoS.

The aim of the day is to create awareness in the people about Spinal Cord related injuries and disability caused by them.

This is expected to create a more inclusive life for people with disabilities and to make their lives a little better.

The theme of the Spinal Cord Injury Day 2017 is “Yes we can”, challenging perceptions of what it means to have a spinal cord injury.
