Too much TV can cause disability in older age
A recent study has found that old people who watch more than five hours of TV per day are at higher risk of being unable to walk or having difficulty while walking.
The study has been done over a period of ten years and was based on analysis of lifestyle and health.
It found that sitting for long hours while watching Television was harmful-especially when combined with low levels of physical activity.
Too much time spent on TV can cause disability in older age as it consumes a lot of time that could otherwise be used in an active lifestyle.
