Free assessment camp in Punjab for disabled people

A two-day special assessment camp for disabled people is to be held on 4 September and 5 September in Jalandhar, Punjab.

The camp is being organized by the District Red Cross Society, in cooperation with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India.

During the camp, a team of experts will assess the level of disability of people. They will prepare a report to distribute artificial limbs, hearing aids, wheelchairs and braille canes free of cost.

To avail the benefits, residential certificate, disability certificate and proof of income, along with photographs will need to be submitted.
