Bus conductor admits to killing child inside school, principal suspended
Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor who stabbed a seven-year-old student in Gurugram's Ryan International School to death, has said that he lost his mind when he killed the school boy.
Kumar had been employed by the school nine months back. He said that he got scared when the boy caught him doing something inappropriate in the bathroom.
Kumar said that he pulled the child into the toilet when he tried to escape as he was afraid that he would tell people what he saw Kumar doing.
He said that he did not sexually abuse the child even though he wanted to. He said that he felt a sudden urge that made him take that step.
The school principal has been suspended and the police are conducting an investigation. The school says it will no longer allow conductors, drivers and clerks to go to the students’ toilets.
