Priyanka Chopra to now produce Assamese, Malayalam, Gujarati films
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's production company Purple Pebble Pictures is now set to produce films in Assamese, Malayalam and Gujarati languages.
Earlier, the company has backed films in Bhojpuri, Marathi and Punjabi languages. It now plans to release at least three films a year on an average.
This was announced by the actor's mother and the company's head Madhu Chopra at the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The event also saw the world premiere of the company's Nepali-language, Sikkim-set film 'Pahuna: The Little Visitors', written and directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala.
'Pahuna' tells the story of three children separated from their parents due to the political issues in Nepal.
