50 disabled kids from Kerala are in for a special treat today!

Around 50 disabled kids have been chosen from special schools covered under the Block Resource Centre of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan for a flight from Kochi to Thiruvananthapuram today.

The children, selected from classes between 2 and 7, will take an Indigo flight to Thiruvananthapuram. They will be received by P. Sreeramakrishnan, speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly.

They will also get to interact with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan before getting to tour the Secretariat building and the Legislative Assembly. Their return to Kochi is by a specially arranged bus.

The trip has been sponsored by Arakkathara Louis, an Indian living outside India. 17 teachers will accompany the children on the trip. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is facilitating such a trip for the first time.
