Google accused of discriminating women at workplace
Three former Google employees have filed a lawsuit against the technology company Google for discriminating against women when it came to increase in salary and promotions.
It is reported that Google pays women in California in the US less than men who do similar work and gives female employees jobs that are less likely to get promotions.
The company is yet to comment on the development. It is also facing a investigation by the US Department of Labour into its pay practices.
There are also fresh reports that the company is also discriminating in its hiring practices and treating people differently based on race or gender.
