Tablets to record feedback on meals on trains to be introduced soon

Travellers on premium trains will soon get a chance to rate the food they eat under a to-be launched scheme on their tablets soon, says a report.

Train travellers can record their feedback through an online form on the tablets to be given by the Railways.

The on-board officials of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) in different railway zones have been given around 100 tablets for recording customer feedback on food quality, staff behaviour and other related problems.

The new scheme would be introduced soon on the Mumbai Rajdhani Express train initially to help improve customer satisfaction.

The software on the tablet records the name, phone number and train details of the traveller and then it gives a list of questions to rate the food experience on the journey.
