Sensex closes 30 points down, Nifty settles below 10,200

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty were trading down on Thursday as investors booked profits a day after the US Federal Reserve indicated one more rate hike by the end of this year.

The BSE Sensex closed 30.47 points down at 32,370.04 while the NSE Nifty closed 19.25 points down at 10,121.90.

The top three Sensex gainers were Dr Reddy (+7.47%), Cipla (+4.04%) and Lupin (+3.02%).

The top three Sensex losers were ICICI Bank (-1.99%), Axis Bank (-1.37%) and Coal India (-1.09%).

The top three Nifty gainers were Dr Reddy (+7.57%), Cipla (+4.09%) and Lupin (+2.72%).

The top three Nifty losers were Zeel (-2.57%), GAIL (-2.55%) and ACC (-2.33%).
