Want to reduce weight? Eating nuts can reduce obesity risk
A new study says that eating nuts such as walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts and peanuts can help to reduce weight and also lower the chances of being obese.
The study showed that people who ate nuts had less weight gain and had a 5% less risk of becoming overweight or obese, compared to people who don't consume nuts.
Earlier, many people thought that nuts are high-fat foods and not a good choice for individuals who want to lose weight.
The research also found that nuts are a rich source of energy, good fats, protein, vitamins, minerals and others.
Nuts are also related with many health benefits, including healthy ageing and memory function in older adults.
