Kuldeep Yadav is king as India beat Australia by 22 runs in second one day international
India's left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav got a hat-trick in the second one day international against Australia on Thursday, helping India win the second match by 22 runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
22-year-old Yadav dismissed Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins to score his first ODI hat-trick. Before Yadav, only former India pacer Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev had achieved this record.
Yadav said it was a special night for him, and credited his record to MS Dhoni. With this win, India has claimed the number one position in one day international rankings.
Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane batted well for India, with Kohli scoring a century.
