Ballet dance keeps patients engaged in UK hospital
Vanessa Hooper, a former Royal Ballet dancer in the UK is treating patients of a hospital with a bespoke ballet class.
The initiative has been started to reduce the boredom among the hospital patients and keep them engaged through dance.
Dance helps to get the elderly patients to move and inspires them to try and do small things in their lives.
The class also encouraged the hospital patients who never thought they would be able to do anything, to join in the dance group and feel better.
Physical activity or exercise in the form of dancing can help senior and elderly people to stay fit and reduce their risk to dangerous physical and mental diseases.
