How to tackle personal questions at interviews
During interviews, companies often ask questions of a personal nature. Some of these questions could be to tell about yourself, what motivates you, or how you plan to achieve a work life balance. In many interviews, you can also come across questions relating to religious beliefs, whether you plan to marry or get pregnant and leave the job etc. Often these questions are raised just to test your presence of mind so keep calm.
Do not panic. Go prepared for such questions so you don't look nervous or confused. The best way you can deal with any question is by trying to identify the reason why the the question is being asked. Personal questions, if prepared well, can be of an advantage as they can actually help you to take your interview in the direction that you would want to.
