Patanjali plans to get into textile and garment market soon
Patanjali Ayurved, supported by yoga guru Ramdev, plans to get into textile and garment market, says a report.
The company will make everything from inner garments to traditional and sportswear soon.
It will focus on making Indian-made products and encouraging Indians to give up foreign brands.
Patanjali is reportedly in talks with many investment banks to increase structured credit worth Rs 1,000 crore to fund its new projects.
Recently, the company announced the launch of packaged drinking water ‘Divya Jal’ and it also plans to enter into the dairy industry.
In the last one year, the company has quickly grown to the number two FMCG brand in the country after Hindustan Unilever.
