Senior citizens in Delhi keen to use and learn gadgets, smartphones
A new study by the All India Institute of Medical Science – AIIMS says that around 75% of senior citizens living in Delhi are interested to use and learn modern gadgets and smartphones to stay fit and healthy.
The study was done on 300 elderly patients visiting AIIMS to understand how seniors use modern technology to improve their health issues.
Health experts say the most common app of mHealth is used to educate people about preventive healthcare services.
Around 70% of people had a positive attitude towards mHealth services but there were others who resist and had doubts about the healthcare access through modern technology.
