World Mental Health Day 2017
Today is World Mental Health Day.
The day is celebrated every year since 1992 on 10 October, to create awareness about various forms of mental health issues that affect people around the world.
Depression and anxiety disorders are the most common form of mental health problems. Around 300 million people suffer from depression and anxiety across the world.
The theme of World Mental Health Day 2017 is ‘Mental health in the workplace.’
The World Federation for Mental Health and the World Health Organisation is working towards creating a better awareness about depression issues and their treatment and acceptance in the society.
It is important that people with depression feel free to talk about their issues and get timey help to avoid serious problems.
