Hemophilia patients in Punjab hope to get access to treatment
The government of Punjab has decided to provide access to required treatment to hemophilia patients in the state.
The move has come after it was seen that there is no access to Anti-Hemophilic Factor (AHF) treatment in Punjab and patients have to rush to other states to get treatment facilities.
Health experts hope that thousands of patients suffering from hemophilia in the state will be able to get access to hemophilia treatment centres with trained doctors to improve the quality of their lives.
For now, work is also going on to create awareness about hemophilia among patients, doctors and staff in the state.
Hemophilia is a disorder in which blood doesn't clot normally.
