Actor Prakash Raj says bigger actors in government deserve awards given to him
Actor and filmmaker Prakash Raj has said that he will give the five National Film Awards back to the government.
He wants to do this as a mark of protest against the silent stand taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh.
The police investigation has not been able to find much information about the murder of the gutsy journalist, who was shot outside her own house by unknown men in September.
Prakash Raj said that the PM is a bigger actor than him and the awards should be given to him.
Some people had expressed happiness over Gauri’s murder on Twitter and PM Modi follows their accounts.
