Cinema fame is not enough to succeed in politics, says Rajinikanth
Tamil film actor Rajinikanth said that name, fame, money earned in the world of cinema is not enough to help one find success in the political career.
Rajinikanth shared the example of the late iconic actor Sivaji Ganesan, who could not succeed in politics, despite being largely popular.
Sivaji Ganesan had worked in over 300 films. However, when he started his own political party, he lost elections from his own constituency.
Rajinikanth said actor Kamal Haasan possibly knew what is that secret to make a mark in politics, but might not want to share with him.
Rajinikanth's statement comes after there were rumours that he and Haasan would join hands politically.
