Unbelievable! Crying can help generate electricity, says research
A team of researchers from Ireland have found a way to generate electricity from tears.
The research says that tears can be a tool to create electricity. Infact, tears may also reportedly help you in charging your mobile phones in the future.
As per the research, applying pressure to a protein present in tears can actually make electricity.
The process to make electricity by using pressure is called as direct piezoelectricity.
It is reported that the team made the finding by squeezing the substances between two electrodes and measuring the energy used.
The technology can also be used to power medical implants such as pacemaker that’s placed in the chest or abdomen to control abnormal heartbeat.
