Facebook to launch facial recognition feature for account security
In this digital age, facial recognition is believed to be the next big thing in biometric verification.
As technology company Apple is using it for one of its main products, the trend of using facial recognition as another option to fingerprint scanner will soon become famous among manufacturers and users.
Joining the trend is social network Facebook, which is working on facial recognition feature to allow users to secure their account.
It is reported that the upcoming feature will work only when someone is locked out of his or her account.
Password will still be the primary verification system and if it doesn’t work then facial recognition will be used to log in the user.
