13 year old disabled Syrian refuge is now learning para sports
Najib Alhaj Ali is a 13-year-old Syrian boy who started using wheelchair two years ago.
He was injured during a bomb attack on his home in the war affected Syria. He fled from there with his family and after a lot of struggle found refuge in Greece.
The teenager found a ray of hope when he was made a part of the pilot Paralympic education project managed by the Hellenic Paralympic Committee.
Najib has now found an ability in disability. He is now learning para sports and has a better future to look forward to. He has also found the moral strength to work for brighter future.
