The project of the new Aadhaar system at the Bengaluru airport is expected to start by March 2018.

Passengers boarding for domestic airlines may be able to use this new system in 90 days after the launch and international flight travellers can access the same by October 2018.

The idea is to improve real-time verification of travellers, improve security, quicken clearance, reduce delays and provide a smooth and stress-free travel at the airport.
