Man diagnosed with Parkinson’s walks the country all alone
42 years old Andrew Martin, a father of two children was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease some five to six years ago.
But it didn’t stop him from getting on with everyday life.
Andrew decided to walk from one end of the country to the other in Great Britain, all alone, in 30 days to raise money for the charity which had helped him.
Andrew said being positive and carrying on with life like before helped him move on and overcome his disability.
Parkinson’s disease is a brain disorder that progresses slowly in most people. The disease affects movements, body and emotions.
