3 lakh Indian youth to get trained in Japan
As part of the skill development programme of the Indian government, around three lakh young people will be sent to Japan.
The youth will be technical interns and they will be given on-the-job training for a period of three to five years in Japan.
The announcement regarding this was made by the Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
India and Japan have signed an agreement for the ‘Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)’.
The trainees from India will be selected according to Japanese requirement. They will be sent over to Japan over the next three years.
As per reports, the Japanese will also be providing financial assistance for the training.
