Blind student of DU dreams of scaling the Everest
Angmo is a 21 year old blind student of the Bachelor of Arts from Miranda House, Delhi University.
Since 2016 she has been a member of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute for Mountaineering.
Angmo is the only blind candidate to ever climb the height of 16, 400 ft with the least amount of training.
Angmo also received the 'Best Trainer' award among thirty people. Angmo is now receiving training for the Indian Mountaineering Foundation and her dream is to climb the Mt Everest one day.
She uses the white cane and enjoys travelling alone.
