Salman's clothing brand celebrates fifth anniversary with unsung heroes

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Being Human Clothing on the occasion of its fifth anniversary, has launched #5YearsOfBeingHumanClothing campaign with inspiring stories of eight unsung heroes.

Here are the details of the eight unsung heroes.

Arjun Meghe and Jyotibha Patil, founders of ‘Insaniyat,’ a non-profit organization which is aimed towards social development.

Karan Berry, who makes ‘zero-profit shoes’ for disabled people.

Deane de Menezes, founder of ‘Red is the New Green,’ organises awareness sessions about menstruation across society.

Rajeev Dilip Kher, founder of ‘3S India,’ runs a sanitation campaign addressing hygiene-related problems that have helped over 1,000,000 workers.

Maitreyi Jiwchkar, started ‘Zero Gravity,' which is a youth-led group connecting change-makers to opportunities on a single service for the betterment of the society.

Poorva Shingre works at ‘Once upon a Doug’ to help cotton women farmers get a trusted secondary income from handmade, up-cycled cotton bracelets, which are sold globally.

Raviraj Shetty from ‘Ummeed Child Development Center’ works to make every child experiencing disability realise their abilities and become a part of the society in respectful ways.
